For many children in rural India, access to quality education remains limited. Inadequate infrastructure, high dropout rates, and a shortage of teachers continue to affect learning opportunities and outcomes.
Jindal Foundation addresses these challenges through initiatives that improve teacher availability, strengthen school infrastructure, and create better learning environments. Our work supports the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 and India’s Right to Education Act by enhancing access to quality education and create lasting opportunities for every child. Key initiatives include:
Project Utkarsh which provides free online coaching for UPSC, OPSC, and other competitive examinations for students from underprivileged backgrounds.
Providing quality education through the CBSE curriculum at OP Jindal School and the State Board curriculum in the regional language at Savitri Jindal DAV High School.
Improved infrastructure and greater access to quality learning environments.
Volunteer community teachers and teaching and learning materials for government schools.
